The Unwasted Life: McKinney Cheerleaders / Fab Five Photos

  • Luke Easter · 2 years ago
Fab Five @ McKinney High in Dallas, Texas

What's up with the learning process in our schools these days?
It seems like everyone except the educators has a much better way,
Teachers and students are having consensual sexual relationships,
On My Space one girl put a condom on a candle then licked it with her lips.

Under age cheerleaders drinking & posting provocative pictures in style,
At Texas' McKinney North High it lasted almost a year not just a little while,
Although the actions of the notorious "Fab Five" was cause for dismissal,
Not to worry, the mother of the ringleader was the high school principal.

A suburb just outside Dallas the girls were booted and boss mom resigned,
Obviously this educator never thought to spank Cheer's cute little behind,
In a nightclub, topless bar, even skid row you see sex, cheap beer & wine,
But in a well to do community, who would ever have thought they'd find…?

And what about intimidation from parents of the other four?
They along with their "children" should have been shown the door,
Instead of learning these kids pranced around like Prima Donna fools,
Let them take these Gestapo tactics and start their own damn school.

How strange the B.O.E. bought out mom's contract for 75 grand,
Was she run over in the parking lot by the high school marching band?
This incompetent should thank her lucky stars for not being fired,
Are you telling me there was no morals clause when she was hired?

This is not an isolated incident however because it's found every where,
Yep, even affluent neighborhoods where parents are supposed to care,
This school and others like are bombarded with an endless media barrage,
Aren't teachers and not the students supposed to be the ones in charge?

For what reasons were these girls were allowed to take full control?
It's fairly obvious that mommy and daddy had never learned to say no,
There's a reason traffic lights are red and green for stop and go,
Parents need to realize, they not their offspring are running the show.

What happens when prayer, commandments are taken from school?
Envy, jealously, disrespect plus all manner of chaos begins to rule,
Disobedience with wanton desires takes over our daughters and sons,
Who now turn to sex, drugs, alcohol and as at Columbine, even guns.

well, i guess that luke easter person nailed it. no forced religion so total chaos. :)

i see no big major deal here. you girls have fun while you can. old age comes along soon enough! :)

These girls should have been more disciplined throughout their high school years and by that I mean swats with the paddle from the principal. I few swats on the behind when they act out of line would have fixed everything
  • brennan · 2 years ago
these girls didnt do all the things people say they did. this has just been blown up by the media like many of these typse of storys. i happen to go to mckinney north high school and know thw real story.

Look, these kids are all friends and do friends things like all girls. If other people were bullied, then they were wrong. But they look like all kids, hanging out, doing peace signs. They just happen to be very attractive. It doesn't bother me. Again, if they were bullies, then I happen to think someone would have beat the hell out of them by now, especially in Texas.

THis story dosen't seem any worse then any other High School USA.....My daughters HS on Myspace has simular pictures..
  • Taylor · 1 year ago
Teachers and administrators at schools all around the country let 'popular' girls/boys get away with less than appropriate behavior because of their shallow successes. People in general should be ashamed this is allowed! These girls should have been arrested and handle lifelong consequences.
  • ANNETTE HALL · 1 year ago
these girls seem to just want attention and all I know is what goes around comes around. psalms chapter 1 blessed is the man that walketh not in the council of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners. thats how these girls need to be looked at so if the be ignorant let em every dog has their day and its coming.
  • LISA · 1 year ago
TO THEM LIL B****'s i say if they was in nyc schools the kids would have showed them how new york get down they would have never had the name fab five they names would have been the F***ed up five. and it would have been a lot different the mother would have been begging the kids to stop punching their daughters in the face, and the teachers would have took a lost of a job smacking the s**t out of them they would'nt have ruled the school they would have been under the school. sorry to hear that moms and pops are suckers for their sorry ass daughters.
  • Shayne · 1 year ago
brennan, if these girls were not this bad, why did their mama leave the shcool? Why did they have FOUR cheerleading coaches over in one year? Why is there a movie being made about them? these girls were on a power trip. You say you know the real story, well so do we, now. the real story is that after the story broke, other students from your very school came out of the wood work to tell more stories of these little punk brats. This is the rea story.

I think its funny EVERYYYONE that replys to these stupid websites. do u really even have a life if your still commenting on a story that happened almost 2 years ago? and SHAYNE i was a cheerlader on the squad and probably 90% of what you heard on the news was a lie. we had 4 coaches in 4 years. 1 got marriend. 1 had a baby. and 1 had got a promotion at the new school in mckinney. If everyone could actually hear the REAL story then most of you wouldnt be saying what you are. Our cheerleading coach is banking off this story and if she was actually just mad bc she got fired and cant get a job then she wouldnt have even takin the whole "cheerleaders gone wild" story to the media. But guess what she knows from her own words that "sex sells" at least thats what she told her cheerleaders. When all of the cheerleaders including the girls that weren't in the so called "FAB FIVE" finally come out and tell our story its going to be funny bc right now mrs ward is getting sued bc of all the lies she told.
  • student · 1 year ago
And this new movie coming out shows the girls celeb crazed as they see themselves on tv, when actually i saw each one crying and embarressed that their worst moment as teenagers was on national news. Did anyone know every news station and tv show in new york was offering them more than 75,000 to come there? I'm sure yall didnt. The story that they could tell is way less entertaining than mrs ward has made this out to be, and she is making a loooot of money off of them. To everyone that is supporting her, shame on you. The media shows the side of the story that will sell, not the true one and i never knew this until this incidident happened to my friends and former teammates.
  • kacy · 1 year ago
I think its ridiculous everyone is making such a big deal about this. I cheered at my high school and now at college, and drinking bullying cheerleaders happens everyone. SO, everyone should get over it. Its not illegal to walk into a condom shop and to have sex under age, so I have no idea why that was even brought into this. This goes on at every single high school in America and bullying is in every clique. Not just one. I dont see why these 5 were exposed and i think its ridiculous. People probably were just jelous of them. And Newsflash everyone. At every high school, students drink. its a fact of life. I feel bad that this girls were put on the map like this and now they've made a movie about it. No one deserves that especially something thats this stupid. There are so much more important issure to worry about. so i say, GO FAB Five -=]

The people that condoned this are pathetic. this is wrong. what they did was wrong. this stuff never went on at my school, what makes me even more sick is that these girls are loving this attention.

I live in an affluent Dallas suburb, and unfortunately, have seen pitiful excuses for parents such as the ones portrayed in this movie. Sad that these parents create monsters like these girls by never saying no or setting limits. Good for the coach for standing up to these "plastic morons" - she did the right thing!
  • Jamie · 1 year ago
Gee, Kacy, maybe if you hadn't been so busy drinking and having sex, you would have gone to class and learned how to spell "jealous."
  • Kit · 1 year ago
Well All I can say is that if it happened at our school those chunky monkeys would not make it past the pep squad. And I hope the Boss mom can find colleges for the little cheerleaders.
  • Teacher at MHS · 1 year ago
Hey, I taught at that school and believe me the movie depicted almost everything that occured. Those girls were horrible and the principal was too weak to do anything about them. The coach was just a young naive teacher who thought she could make a difference. The problem is we have too many parents who demand no discipline for their rotten children and too many administrators who bow down to them.
  • Stacey · 1 year ago
Kacey, you should STAY IN SCHOOL and do less drugs and alcohol! You can't spell worth a crap and your grammar is so poor you should give some serious thought as to how you are going to make a living. JUST SAY NO Kacey and perhaps one day, you might be able to spell the school you attend! Learn what a contraction is and how it can be used in a sentence.
    Just some friendly advice.
  • Liz · 1 year ago
to student....just asking, do you even have a life? you condemned those who commented on here and then you can't resist on commenting back.
i can see how this whole story could have been exaggerated, and you're right not everyone knows the whole story whatever. but you're delusional if you think that if these girls didnt do anything. clearly something major happened to cause all of this. something major that these power hungry, immature girls caused upon themselves. i don't think that the mom/principle should have been depicted as the only one to blame. these girls need to live up to their dumb decisions. i hope that they cried and that they felt embarrassed, they deserve it.

This website is the best. I just watched the fab 5 movie. These girls are idiots and the movie was GREAT! All the people that say the fab 5 are hot or are young and can do whatever they want or lifetime sucks are losers or small minded and obviously have not left dallas vicinity. The fab 5 are sad & plump (actually) and are nothing to be proud of. I am not gay, am in shape and am very decent finance-wise AND I love lifetime. The fab 5 are the essence of "loserism"
in the US. Thank god this show aired so young girls will see they don't have to be hateful or sleazy to feel good about themselves. FAB5 SUCKS.
  • Lucy · 1 year ago
I feel these girls were way out of line. They should have been disciplined as a consequence for their actions. Face it, if other students behaved the way they did, they would've been sent to the principal's office - fast. These girls clearly had privileges...unfortunately, teachers and administrators there let them do whatever they wanted without setting any boundaries because of who they were. I'm glad that they were put in their place. I wonder if they learned their lesson or if they're up to their same behavior...
  • Linda · 1 year ago
To all of the students that replied...TAKE A COURSE, LEARN HOW TO SPELL AND WRITE PROPER SENTENCES! You obviously weren't paying any attention in HS and I'm sure you are all in remedial classes in college. Grow up. This is the real world now. Mommy and Daddy are idiots if they bail your butt out when you flunk out.

Regarding the bratty cheerleaders, they've received they're 15 minutes of fame. Now the entire country knows they are stupid little girls who will never amount to anything...not just McKinney.
  • Yeah right. · 1 year ago
This movie was good entertainment. True or not? Who cares. Everyone is a bitch at some point, but will always see themselves as victims. Sadly, this is just the way things are. Mean girls do exist. If those cheerleaders did do all that, we should feel sorry for them. They apparently were never taught better. Their life is lacking in stability, and perhaps love. I will say this, cheer leading in any school has never been about inspiring people. It's always been a popularity contest. So, if that coach (previous cheer leader) really said that... bullshit... I don't buy it. There is something off about that whole coach story.
  • mrs.brice · 1 year ago
I'm from Texas and trust me if those girls went to my school that s**t would not have happened because they would have gotten their a** stomped for real the first time they got out of line and that's the truth!
  • Theresa · 1 year ago
    Bratty cheerleaders. Poor parenting...poor.
The Principal...needs to be in counseling with her bratty cheerleader daughter.

It's disappointing that the McKinney school district allowed this to happen for so long.

For the cheerleader gal whose Prinicipal Mother didn't love her...it's easy to see why. The Dad was smart to hit the bricks...who wouldn't living with those two?
Sorry...I don't feel sorry for either of them. They are old enough to know the difference between right and wrong.

i just want to point out to linda that she should spell check/grammar check her comments before criticizing someone elses. in your second paragraph you used the word they're instead of their, which is a possessive pronoun coming from they. just giving ya crap! haha

this whole story of the fab five is just sickening. all of you have great points that i agree with. these girls are in my own mind, stupid ass bitches. but the matter of the fact is that its happening all over. maybe not to that extent but still in a form where it needs attention brought to the matter. 90% of teenagers drink in highschool. its a fact. that will not change as its part of life growing up. its suppose to be the best times of your life. but these girls now days have got to change their ways. any parent should be ashamed of themselves raising a daughter or even son that think their shit dont stink and believe they are better than anyone else.

Shut the hell up! you know how f*ckn stupid you sounded? Before you asking people if they have a life, did you ask yourself? You must not have a life neither. It's ok... I don't hold your behavior against you because I realize it was caused by childhood trauma; your parents spanked you when you fell on your head and broke the cement.

OH.... and I fail to comprehend how you can continue to function on any level with an IQ that is three degrees below whale sh*t.

Linda, how are you going to start talking about people taking writing courses and then use "they're 15 minutes of fame" instead of THEIR 15 minutes of fame? What the heck? Maybe YOU should take that writing course you were talking about instead of trying to sound so smart and educated. Anyway, the movie was great and I really enjoyed it.

This movie was AWSOME! I recently graduated high school and I was also a cheerleader. There were a group of girls, that are now seniors, and they act almost identical to the "Fab Five". These girls are bratty and have been in trouble numerous times for bullying. The six girls always got out of trouble because cheerleading is such a big deal at that school and the squad needs them for competitions. I think many girls will be able to realate to this movie and hopefully it will make someone stand up and stop tgirls that act like this just like the cheer coach in this movie. I'm not sure the "Fab Five" were punished enough. When you really look at it all that happend to them was they had to change schools and quit the squad. Now this movie is out and they're like celebrities. You know they aren't ashamed of what they did and are taking in all the fame they can get. To me thats getting out pretty easy. And for the people that keep leaving comments on how people are so stupid for replying to forums like this blah blah blah. If its so stupid....why are you here?
  • Karen · 1 year ago
Its clear that some of you young people do not have children, perhaps when you do you will understand that you do not send your child, your heart, someone that you spend a great amount of time and care to protect to school to be victimized by the spawn of adults who are themselves as out of control as their biological mishaps. While I abhor violence in general and especially toward children, they are not children. The moment you put your hands on someone else in a malicious manner in an effort to hurt someone, your fair game to be treated like any other adult threat. Good luck to any mother or mothers child getting my foot out their a** for laying a hand on any child of mine. Fabulous-famous-infamous wanna be or not. For all of you who think the behavior of the child does not lie at the feet of the parents. Giver your spawn to someone who understands discipline and appreciates the potential of young people, the rest of you, Abort before you spawn, the world does not need your offspring. My 2..peace

Prada I loved your comment!! :)... as well as a few others. I just want to say that I too just finished watching this Lifetime movie of the "Fab Five" and whether or not it is true, it was GREAT ENTERTAINMENT. I have no idea what the real story is but I'm sure this is true somewhere in America.
I am a Texan and of course I heard of this when it happened.
All I have to say is....I start teacing High School in a few weeks and this movie scared the SH*T out of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO

I know someone here will say "not me ....never" and we all know you are full of shite. ;) It's part of growing and unfortunately I see it a lot with girls. Growing up is hard, since we are very emotional. Before anyone jumps on me, I'm not saying I condone it...be the authority figure 1st and friend 2nd. Word to yer momma!!

Oh how amusing!! I just watched the movie of the 5 little spoiled brats. They certainly are not "FAB", but merely 5 little slutty rednecks from Texas.

Hopefully justice will find its place and all of these little "nuttin girls" will not bgain attendance to a college... anywhere... and they can pay to go to cosmo school and cut the hair of others for life. This is where they belong. And perhaps, the idiot mother can sweep the shop at night.

    Loved the ending....
  • Debbie · 1 year ago
These things like this happen more often than we want to admit to. I hope the coach got her life back. Great Texas.....we have the express lane for convicts and the highest death penalty % and now we are known for our cheerleaders. HELP!!!!
  • Kenziee · 1 year ago
Ha. None of these girls are even pretty!
and no all you fab five supporters, thats not jealousy, thats honest to god fact.

OOkk so i just finished watching the movie.
And almost everyone drinks, and lots of girls pose like that for pictures. If the movie depicted the real story correctly though, these girls got what they deserved. Not for what they did, but for thier behavior. Ah the whole mean girl thing isnt cute. For real.

Well hope these spoiled, not even cute, bitches enjoy hell as much as they did high school.
  • RahDigga · 1 year ago
I just saw the movie on Lifetime about these girls. They were ridiculous and the adults were plain idiots. Mom/principal was just pathetic. Is cheerleading that serious? I wish I was at that school! OOOOH I wish! What was wrong with the other girls, they out numbered them! Everybody catered to them, I am disgusted!
  • Grace · 1 year ago
Why was that principal ever promoted or appointed to that position in the FIRST place? If she was even one-half the wimp she was portrayed to be in the movie, then she had no business occupying the principal's office in that school.

I followed this story closely while it was occurring. (I live in Texas, but in the Houston area, not Dallas.) Even though movie producers are notorious for taking "artistic license" when they produce docudramas, I have no doubt that, with few exceptions, things happened very much like they were portrayed.

All I have to say to the cheerleaders who were involved is, "Rather than continue to be bitter and resentful, learn from this. And take those lessons with you through life, as they will serve you better than you can ever imagine."
  • Toria · 1 year ago
So what are these girlies up to now? Were they accepted in the college of choice after all or are they struggling to rebuild their reputation? same thing for the poor coach, is she still living in that town but working in a different district. well even though this does go on at every school just about, it's good to know it's not all ignored^^
  • student · 1 year ago
Some of them only made it one year in college and are back home in McKinney without jobs and no degree. Rumor has it that BLT moved to California after her daughter, Carissa (head cheerleader) was kicked out of alternative school for bring cigarettes and had to get her GED.
  • Kim · 1 year ago
I presume these girls have ended up in the same situation as so many other spoiled kids who "peak" during high school ... get married fast, pop out a baby, end of story.
  • Nubiangeek · 1 year ago
There is a reason that I don't teach high school because I would have been fired or put in jail. I probably would have 'accidentally' slapped one of those girls. There is no way that i am going to let a child talk to me that way. Had they been black, they would have put them under the jail, though.

Hope none of these girls crosses my path with one of their smart a$$ remarks because i'll taser their a$$.

Poor parenting at its best can be found in the bible-thumping, kiss my white a$$, Dallas suburbs. Can't stand the Dallas area, don't go there. Avoid Dallas 'cause you can't see anything past all the ugly Texas hair.

Well, I watched the movie and this sparked my interest to look up the articles from 2 years ago following the story. The movie did depict them as snobby little brats that definatley did not get punished half as harshly as they would need but I would like to know the real story of these girls. I too was a cheerleader (in TN) and think that coaches are normaly very supportive of their girls being bitchy snobby sluts in most cases.. which is why i quit the cheerleading business... however maybe there are still some good people left out there!

    SplendoraTexas:

Obviously the post about BLT moving to California was a false or planted rumor. I saw Linda Theret's picture on your website. How long after the scandal did she come to your school? What has the reaction been like since the showing of the movie? I cannot understand why the other cheerleasders did not beat them up. Also, did that incident with two cheerleaders and one of their boyfriends really happen? I have seen nothing to dispute that part of the movie. Although a portion of the movie was made up (like the prinicipal being skinny and attractive), the behavior of those girls and the administrators warranted changes being made. I wonder if the climate of the school got any better after it became national news? Many on this site have said that the girsl were just being girls/teenagers. To an extent that may be true, but what shoud not have happened is that the adults gave up their teaching and parental rights to these very immature entitled brats. The coach might have been young, but she was an adult none the less. The "pom pom" girls did not know how to respect authority and the coach was not going to be able to receive something that the girls were never taught to give. I would not refer to them as cheerleaders, because leaders are suposed to set a better example.

so. i've seen this lifetime movie 3 times. ( i like lifetime movies) for this "student" i feel as though you are young of course and you want to stick up for your friends and hey if they were my friends i'd probably do the samething but realize you're on this forum contradicting yourself and playing both sides to the middle. in one comment your basically saying back off of my friends and blah blah blah then you're in another comment talking bad about the mother in this. you need to pick a side to be on. since people who might have known these girls in real life want to act like they were such a big part in it all when they probably 9 times out of 10 didnt even talk to you..you just want to feel as if you know when your info isnt even half accurate when actuality none of us know except for the people involved.

to put down the cheerleading coach is wrong..like i said before we dont know the actual story but a person in her position anything she witnesses that doesnt seem correct she is supposed to report...and i wouldnt put it pass them that the girl karrissa or whoever since her mom was the principal she probably did take advantage of it.. i mean really who wouldnt?...

ok why is everyone calling them names and this and that?..is that needed?...the girl is not ugly.just in the situation at hand everyone wants to have something to say..im not going to say what they were doing was wrong and we all know for damn sure it was right considering underage drinking and sexual things involved but trust me i've seen worst..ive been out of high school for about 3 years now and i remember things that went on in thedamn hallways let alone on myspace and youtube...thats highschool.but in highschool we grow up and make choices that will effect our lives for the rest of our lives.....im pretty sure if they havent felt it before they are feeling it now or will feel it at one point in time...

both administrators should never be allowed to work in a school system ever again. i think they not only did those five girls an injustice, but the whole public school system. i also feel that the superintendent along with the mckinney school board should be made to compensate the cheerleading coach/teacher for their incompetence. if our children are going to subject to unfair treatment because of influencial parents, and fearful administrators, we might need to think seriously about removing them as well for their unethical behavior.
  • Marie · 1 year ago
